This Christmas Dandi have been having fun styling  our beautiful linen tea towel range with a lovely neutral colour palette with just a touch of Christmas red to add festive cheer. Our Linen tea towels are screen printed with hand stitched detailing and appliquéd leaves. Available in two designs, Christmas Wreath (above) or Partridge and Pear (below) they make the perfect gift this Christmas. 

 Almost too good for the kitchen, we like to use them to style up the Christmas table alongside our berry red napkins and new bamboo entertaining range of platters, side plates, and ever so cute dip bowls.

We've been enjoying the yummy Christmas Biscotti which was the featured recipe on our Christmas card this year. The flecks of green psitachios and red dried cranberries make it a truly festive treat. To try it yourself here is the recipe:

Christmas Biscotti

1 cup caster sugar
2 free range eggs
1 2/3 cups plain flour, sifted
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup pistachio kernals
1/2 cup dried cranberries
Preheat oven to 180°C.

Grease and line 2 baking trays. Place sugar and eggs in a large bowl and whisk to combine. Add flour, baking powder, pistachios and cranberries. Mix to form a dough.

Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth, divide into two portions and shape each portion into a 30cm log. Place on trays flattening slightly.Bake logs for about ½ an hour or until golden brown.

Remove from oven and cool on trays for 20 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 140°C. Using a serrated knife, slice logs into 5mm thick slices. Place slices in a single layer on lined baking trays.

Bake for 20 minutes, turning over halfway through. Stand for 5 minutes,transfer to a wire rack to cool.

Pop the kettle on and enjoy with tea and guests, or wrap with love and give as gifts.

Christmas Cheer

350 ml Cointreau

450 ml Vodka

200 ml lime juice

800 ml cranberry juice

200 ml icy cold water

Mix together ingredients and chill in freezer one hour before serving. Serve with ice and a twist of lime. Makes 2 litres - around 20-25 drinks.

Caroline had an early Christmas celebration this year and decked out 

her table Dandi style to get the mood happening. A plain dyed tablecloth and holly berry napkins were used to set the scene.

Berry red ribbon on simple elegant paper lanterns add a touch of drama 

to the occasion
