We have been really busy working on our new range of tea towels for 2012. We took inspiration from various leaf shapes and we have loved experimenting with a new colour palette of dusty pinks, lemon yellows, soft greens and warm greys. We thought we'd give you all a small taste of our inspiration boards before we launch the range in month.

We’re wondering what happened to those warm summer days, with all this rain we feel a little bit cheated. Here is a nice piece of media coverage from That’s Life to help inspire you to decorate with soft pinks and fresh greens around your home. If it’s raining outside then make it feel like summer inside at least!

A very dear friend of the Dandi team, artist Richard Byers is having an exhibition tonight at the Gaffa Gallery in Sydney. He is showing a selection of recent works made somewhere between Brisbane, Berlin & Tokyo in the last 3 years, including hand drawn silkscreen prints, timber and paper sculptures, audiovisual works and ink drawings on folded paper. All works are reasonably priced so come along and pick up a beautiful artwork for your home.

We discovered Little Jane St at the Magnolia Square markets and loved their ranged of ceramic herb garden tags and magnets, as well as their gorgeous gift cards and tags.
Image from Little Jane St Blog - she takes some great pics
Hopefully it helps them grow better... or maybe better watering habits would help...

Mindi was the lucky recipient of a very special housewarming present from the rest of the Dandi ladies when they came over for some dumplings a few weekends ago.
These gorgeous butter knives are still in their original silk lined case and what is even more special is that the card from the gift giver is still attached!
The card reads: "To Muriel, with love and all good wishes, from Mabel - 25/12/1925
Pretty special huh?!

and did a spot of shopping. One of our favourites was the La Rarastand.
The Dandi girls were already familiar with La Rara (aka Lara Raymond) and couldn't help but buy up lots of her gorgeous handmade cards. You can pick up your own copies at her etsy store - she offers FREE postage!
Such a cute stand (and stand holder!) with so many yummy things to buy!
All the Dandi girls couldn't walk past this gorgeous tea cup card.
had to buy two copies so she could keep one and give one away!

Here are some pictures from the very cool exhibition Once Upon, which Manny was invited to be a part of. The exhibition was put on by the online community Leeloo, who support emerging designers and artists.
Manny standing next to her precious illustration, we are so proud!
It was great to see how all the artists conveyed their particular tale, and for us to feel a bit childlike again and reminisce some forgotton stories. Manny's work is on the bottom row, second from the right.
The crowd at the opening night. It was a really good turn out, it got very hot it there!
The Dandi chicks, we are uber avant garde!

Last night the Dandi girls (sans Manny who had her exciting exhibition
opening which will be featured next week) went Christmas (and personal) shopping at the fabulous Magnolia Square market at RandwickRacecourse. We saw lots of yummy things and made quite a few purchases which we will show you over the next week. The first feature from a cute art print brand call Printspace.
Printspace are a Melbourne based Husband and Wife team who also run graphic designfirm. Mara and Nicholas collaborate on the Printspace artworks and we love the result.
Caroline purchased the print above from the Printspace stand - it really is too cute!
The above image was a postcard freebie from their stand - good enough to frame don't you think? Thanks Printspace for coming up to Sydney and enlightening us with your artworks!
Magnolia Square is on from now until Saturday 21 November. Don't worry if you can't make it though as we will post some goodies all next week and you can check out more stalls on the Magnolia Square website

Very often in life, a change is as good as a holiday, and with this in mind Caroline and Mindi decided to spice up their living spaces with some yummy new cushions from Pad.
We first spotted Pad over a year ago and have been loving their gear ever since. The current collection features an awesome range of colours including fresh green, sapphire and ash grey and the quality of fabric is the very best - durable and snuggly at the same time.
Its fair to say we went a little crazy and our living rooms could now double as Pad showrooms, but the end result breathes new life and inspiration into our worlds and that is what is most important, right?
You can find Pad cushions at the following stores in Sydney:
